The morning commute today was a fail, the trains and buses are all suspended. So I went for a stroll instead and it was really rather lovely. There was a moment up in the park when the sun was coming up and everything turned this amazing shade of pink :)
Isn't it amazing how a relatively moderate amount of well forecast snow can bring London to a grinding halt? I cannot see this happening in many other European countries.

It is very beautiful! I couldn't believe how bright it was at one o'clock this morning with all the snow reflecting street lights.
Glad I didn't have to go to work today anyway - not sure that the effort would have been worth it.
